Quick Simple Problem Card
A Quick Simple Problem is something that you can do in a very short amount of time. Ideally, you should start with problems that are 15-20 minutes long. If you cannot get it done in such a short amount of time, then you have not broken the problem down to a simple enough level.
Quick Simple Problems are:
- Related to a larger goal
- Easy to do with the stuff you have handy
- Simple enough that you don't have to think too much about how to do it
You will need a few simple things:
- A goal or project that you are working on
- A file card or small piece of paper
- A pen or pencil
- A few minutes to think about the possible problems you can solve
To make a Quick Simple Problem Card:
On the Front:

- Write the goal that you are working towards on the second line. It should be a sentence.
- Write three quick simple problems that you think can be solved in 20 minutes or less.

- Write Future Problems
To use the Quick Simple Problem Card:
- Get to work!
- Solve the problems you have indicated as quickly and effectively as possible.
