Grading in Technology and Engineering and Computer Science

Daily effort grade: prepared for class, participating in the activities, following instructions in a cooperative manner. 0-4 scale

Project documentation: There will be major project due dates at least halfway through the term and at the conclusion of the term. Projects are broken down into concept sections and graded on a 0-4 scale

Homework: Assignments are done on time and according to the assignment, graded on a 0-4 scale

Tests and Quizzes are graded in either a percentage or 0-4 scale. Tests receive two entries for weighted averaging.

Each student's grade is calculated by averaging all of the grades.

The breakdown of grades into other systems looks like this:

4 = A : 100

3 = B : 85

2 = C : 75

1 = D : 67

0 = F : 0
